Waves of Bamboo was born in the serene village of Ottapalam in Palakkad, Kerala, where bamboo has been an integral part of life and craft for centuries. Our journey began as a humble initiative under Kerala's renowned Kudumbashree program, with the vision to empower local women artisans while preserving the rich bamboo crafting heritage of the region.
With the unwavering support of the Kerala Government, what started as a small collective of skilled women has blossomed into an enterprise that now showcases Kerala's exquisite bamboo craftsmanship to the world. Each product carries within it the stories of these artisans, their connection to the land, and their dedication to their craft.
